2. Second Kalima: Shahadat (කලිමතුෂ් ශහාදත් - සාක්ෂි දැරීමේ වචනය)

This declaration is known as the "Word of Purity". It has two parts: the first part affirms the oneness of God (Tawheed), and the second part confirms the prophethood of Muhammad (peace be upon him). Reciting this Kalima with full conviction and understanding is what makes a person a Muslim.

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللهِ

අහමඩ් නම් කුඩා පිරිමි ළමයෙක් තම සීයා සමඟ ගෙවත්තේ හිඳගෙන සිටියේය.

මෙය පළමුවැන්නට සමාන නමුත් විවර කර කියනවා: ‘ලා ඉලාහ ඉල්ලල්ලාහු වහ්දහු...’ (ඔහු තනිකඩය, ඔහුට සහකරුවෙක් නැත...) ඔහුට සහකරුවෙක් නැත...) 3.

3. Third Kalima: Tamjeed (තෙවන කලිමාව: තම්ජීද්)

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ أَبَدًا أَبَدًا، ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ، بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

අල්ලාහ් හැර වෙනත් කිසිදු දෙවියෙකු නැත. මුහම්මද් (සල්) තුමාණන් අල්ලාහ්ගේ දූතයාණන් වේ.
